Sufjan knows Michigan, really, he should, he was born here.

But this album captures the state like only a Michigander can.

Being a child of the midwest, I can say the same for Come on Feel the Illinois!, it’s really sad that he’s abandoned his 50 states project.

The man is an artist and a damn talented writer.
